Job Summary
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation & Assembly: Read work orders and shop drawings to determine specifications. Measure and cut all materials including fabric coverings. Assemble boards by applying adhesives stretching fabric smoothly and secure using pneumatic tools such as staple guns.
- Quality Control: Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Check for correct dimensions secure construction and a defect-free appearance before final approval.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and perform basic maintenance on assembly equipment such as saws staple guns and laminators to ensure they function properly.
- Assist with Receiving Duties: Process incoming deliveries by verifying quantities against packing slips inspecting materials for damage or specification variance distributing products within the facility and accurately documenting all receipt transactions and quality reports.
- Safety & Organization: Adhere to all safety protocols including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean safe and organized workstation to support an efficient production flow.
- Teamwork: Communicate effectively and collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
This physically demanding role requires that the incumbent must be capable of frequently lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs as well as standing and walking for extended periods of up to 8 hours daily
