Job Position: Manual Machinist
Location: Broken Arrow OK 74012
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Description:
We are a growing machine shop in Broken Arrow seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong work ethic and experience operating manual lathes mills and ideally Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs). If youre a dependable Manual Machinist looking for long-term stability and hands-on work we want to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to fabricate or repair precision parts.
- Operate Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs) experience is a plus but not required.
- Perform ACME threading also a plus but not mandatory.
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all parts meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
Work Hours:
- Typical Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Overtime and some weekends required as workload demands
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with ACME threading and VTL operation is a plus
- Must be dependable punctual and detail-oriented
