Job Description
Riverhawk Company designs and builds components for leading aerospace and semiconductor companies. As a leader in engineering-driven manufacturing Riverhawk is looking to add an entry level Machinist to its team. This full time position is based out of the New Hartford NY office. The hours for this position are 2:30pm-11pm.
What youll do:
- Set up and operate manual machines including lathes mills and drill presses
- Machine precision Free-Flex Pivot components according to blueprints and work instructions
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to maintain part quality
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Accurately complete documentation and follow quality control procedures
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
What we need:
Applicants should have the following skills and abilities.
- Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability
- Preferably five years of machine shop experience
- Preferably five years of experience on manual machines
- Experience with Mills Lathes Presses Drills and Grinders
- Experience with Calipers Micrometers and inspection equipment
- Experience working with close tolerances
- Proficient in print reading
- Basic shop math
- Demonstrate excellent safety practices & housekeeping
- Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn
- Ability to be punctual and work the second shift hours (2:30-11pm)

- Pay range - $17-20.00/hr (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to prior experience knowledge skills and education as they relate to the positions qualifications.)
