Job Duties: Convert user needs and design inputs into software specifications. Design develop and test embedded software per medical device software development life cycle (IEC-62304). Write lower-layer drivers such as SPI I2C UART and CAN. Collaborate with cross-functional team members including clinicians product managers and system engineers to further refine and develop embedded software. Work with software testers to design better verification test methods and protocols. Design and develop the code with automation testing as a mindset. Participate in software risk analysis and mitigation. Collaborate in designing and developing fixtures and tools for software test automation. Create high-level and detailed design documentation to support the software requirements. Develop test plans and participate in code reviews.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Embedded Software Engineer I-related occupation.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122970 - $132900 annuallyAdditional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical dental vision life insurance short- and long-term disability business accident insurance and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
