This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health Safety and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain. This is a 100% on-site role.

This role is contributing to the Electrification - Distribution Solutions - Busway Division in Selmer TN area.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.
• Facilitating assisting and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.
• Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.
• Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.

Qualifications for the role:

• Associates Degree OR 5 years prior experience in HSE
• Preferred Bachelors degree in Health/Safety or Environment or Nursing LPN RN
• Experience with Data Analytics Report Compiling and Excel Data Management
• Prior experience supporting Health Safety and Environment or working in an HSE role
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
