If you have experience in facilitating and instructing Fitness classes Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you asSport EnhanceFitness Certified Instructorat Queen Anne and/or MagnoliaCommunity Centers.These are in person (not remote) and year-round part-time roles.
ARC in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs classes and Sport EnhanceFitness Instructor will lead group fitness classes focus on improving physical function reducing falls and promoting an active lifestyle ensuring safe and effective workouts for participants.

Sport EnhanceFitness Instructorresponsibilities:
- Facilitate and instruct EnhanceFitness classes which are designed to improve physical function reduce falls and promote an active lifestyle.
- Ensure participants perform exercises correctly and safely providing modifications as needed to accommodate various skill levels
- Motivate and support participants creating a welcoming and encouraging environment.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment including cuff weights.
- Be prepared to provide emergency first aid if needed.
Sport EnhanceFitness Instructor requirements include:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Instructors must hold a certification from a nationally recognized fitness association.
Pay:
- Starting Pay: $26.50- $28.50
- Full Pay Range: $26.50-36.50/hr(employee may earn up to $36.50/hr with continued employment)
