Job Description
Were seeking someone to join our GLM Aggregate Limits team as a developer in Trading Risk Control Algo to work on the existing and future evolution of the GLM Aggregate Limits solution.
In the Technology division we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Software Engineering III position at Director level which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that supports business needs.

What youll do in the role:
- - Join as a hands-on developer in our Trading Risk Controls team.
- - Develop test deploy and maintain distributed low-latency applications which interacts with electronic trading and market making systems.
- - Learn about trading systems and electronic trading while working with best-in-class technologists.
- - Work closely with risk management teams so you need to be comfortable in a trading floor environment.
- - Work in a team-oriented environment so good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- - Will influence the design and architecture of our next generation risk controls system.
What youll bring to the role:
- - Expert at Java/KDB/Q with a proven track record of implementing complex real-time application.
- - Ability to optimize code to handle high data volume with minimal calc cycles.
- - Strong UNIX / Linux skill - our applications run on Linux.
- - Scripting / Python skills are a plus.
- - Handle pressure well.
- - The desire to learn!
