Summary:
Responsible for leading Office Administration Human Resources and Accounts Payable & Receivable activities for a 30-person manufacturing facility as part of Marmon Holdings Berkshire Hathaway world class organization.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Payroll attendance and vacation organization
- Recruiting hiring & onboarding and terminating hourly employees
- Benefits open enrollment and restrictions management
- Leading communications across team
- Listen and collaborate with employees as needed
- Coordinate with Corporate HR
Safety & Environmental
- Support OSHA & EPA compliance
- Manage safety meetings and sustain improvements
- Support accident investigations and follow procedures in case of injury
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips
- Voucher all inventory outside service and expense invoices
- Work with vendors to resolve any invoice discrepancies
- Prepare debit memos to return goods that have been rejected
- Open accounts with new vendors; prepare applications W9 and ACH forms
- Complete month end accruals
- Monitor accounts receivable; Manage activities to collect past due receivables
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic State & Federal employment laws
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Experience with or ability to learn ERP software required
- Proficient with corporate productivity tools such as Excel Outlook Word and web presentation tools
- Communication Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively across the organization both verbal and written
- Teamwork Collaborates with individuals and teams in an open-minded and actionable way; Manages conflicts rationally and respectfully
- Innovation Displays original thinking and creativity; Generates improvement suggestions
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field
- Experience in HR or Operational/Office Manager type role a plus
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is preferred
Salary range is commensurate with experience.
Range $55000.00-$71000.00.
Pay Range:
44000.00 - 66000.00
