This Position reports to:
Indoor Apparatus Product Marketing ManagerIn this role you will have the opportunity to implement product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy in assigned area to meet business objectives. Each day you will implement marketing activities and support Sales Organization in driving sales and services for respective products. You will also showcase your Electrification Industry expertise by driving sales efficiency by providing appropriate product knowledge information and training regarding our Distribution Solutions product offerings. This role will specifically support in preparation of technical documentation support tools and coordination of R&D activities for the MV Switch Gear components targeting customers in OEMs Distributors and Panel Builders.
The ideal candidate would be located in Cary NC or Lake Mary FL and work a hybrid-remote schedule out of our offices in those locations - but the role is also open to remote candidates located in the US. This role will require approximately 30 - 50% travel.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Implementing the product marketing strategy targeting primarily OEMs including defining and communicating switchgear product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
Achieving product marketing targets and budgets by overseeing progress regularly and defining and implementing improvement plans as needed.
Focusing on achievement of orders and driving continuous improvement in the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Executing annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant division and/or product groups.
Developing business plans focused on driving business development for a defined market.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred or Associates degree and/or significant relevant experience in lieu of higher degree
3 years of experience in MV electrical distribution and industry business
MV switchgear and R&D/product management experience required
Product specific knowledge of ADVANCE Switchgear or equivalent required
Previous work with Solidworks CATIA Autocad and other R&D software tools
Ability to travel an estimated 30-50%
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Vacation is provided based on years of service for hourly and non-exempt positions. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.
While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications and experience this position is expected to pay between $79800 and $127680 annually.
