As a RDA and Metrology Shift Equipment Maintenance Technician you are responsible for monitoring sustaining and improving the equipment and/or processes in the assigned area while working in partnership with production team members and area engineers. Shift Technicians monitor tool performance schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets and use mechanical electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve Long term down (LTD) equipment performs long-term down action plans
  • Improve best known methods and area documentations for maintenance and recovery procedures
  • Contribute in KT sessions on difficult fixes and hard down situations
  • Identify and implement procedure and documentation changes
  • Resolve recurring problems by identifying and eliminating root cause; follows up by writing equipment related ECNs and includes data to justify changes when appropriate
  • Collect data and mentor others to assist in Deep Dive analysis on tool performance and tool matching
  • Resolve Tool trends or yield concerns raised by 1st shift equipment and process owners
  • Continuously improve the reaction mechanisms and procedures based on feedback from the end users. Includes support of Periodic Document Review (PDR) process
  • Support TPM documentation requirements; 1-Pt Lessons SOP Documents CIP Program M-Tags Tech Memo etc.
  • Apply decision making methods using data established guidelines procedures and judgment (KT PA/DA/PPA 5 Whys etc.)
  • Use various software such as Data Navigator Klarity SPACE and E3 for data collection and analysis
  • Regularly make decisions regarding non-routine issues using data guidelines procedures experience and judgment
  • Fully participate and attend TPM team meetings and use the Companys Global TPM system
  • Maintain 6S protocol in all maintenance activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) with the need to lift equipment up to 25lbs and work with equipment with a strong magnetic field
  • Basic PC skills including MS Office Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • High School Diploma or working towards a STEM related degree or equivalent military training and experience or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree in technical field
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of AC/DC circuits including fundamentals of electricity and basic electronic components and circuits
