Your role and responsibilities In this role you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment production lines and/or facilities resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment production lines and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment production lines and/or facilities.
The work model for the role is:
onsite (#Li-Onsite) in Pinetops NC. The ability to work the second shift is required (3:30pm-12am).This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities and consulting on ways to improve reliability maintainability and safety of equipment and/or facilities.
- Solving major technical equipment or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
- Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
- Responding to emergencies breakdowns malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.
Qualifications for the role:
- An associate degree in electrical/electronic or related field is preferred or a minimum of 5 years of experience is required (experience in electrical and mechanicalfield working as a technician in an industrial maintenance setting is preferred)
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line equipment
- Knowledge in electronic controls is required.
- A collaborative solution-focused approach and strong written and spokencommunication skills
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
