Job Title
Senior Cloud Operations & Automation EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Azure cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability performance and security of our cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage Azure cloud resources to ensure uptime and availability.
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture security and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to design and deploy scalable cloud solutions.
- Automate and streamline operations and processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain documentation of systems processes and procedures to support Cloud Operations.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure services features and best practices.
- Participate in the planning and execution of cloud migration and deployment projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and security policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field.
- Proven experience in Azure cloud services and management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking security and storage solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell Python or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor Log Analytics or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
