Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping washing and sanitizing floors walls and surfaces

• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by replenishing supplies cleaning toilets sinks floors and mirrors

• Clean and sanitize break rooms and lunch areas; remove grease and marks from floors and tables

• Remove wastepaper trash and garbage from all assigned areas and dispose of it properly

• Clean up sand and debris in foundry areas when assigned

• Operate basic cleaning equipment such as brooms mops vacuum cleaners floor buffers and sweepers

• Monitor janitorial supply levels and inform supervisor of restocking needs

• Perform visual inspections of own work to ensure quality and safety

• Assist General Assembly by operating the wash tank or performing related support duties when not assigned to cleaning tasks

• Maintain a neat and organized work environment

• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions

• Use basic math skills for job-related tasks

• Report defective equipment unsafe conditions or other issues to the supervisor

• Follow all prescribed safety rules and company regulations

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma GED or equivalent

• Ability to read write and speak English to understand instructions and document tasks

• Basic math skills and ability to follow standard procedures

• Manual dexterity and concentrated visual attention required

• Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Standard 8-hour workday

• Standing walking bending lifting pushing and pulling for extended periods

• Lifting and moving objects weighing 1050 pounds

• Exposure to varying temperatures warm in summer cool in winter

• Use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses required)
