SUMMARY:
The Audiology Assistant functions as a member of the audiology team and The Hearing Store. The Audiology Assistant will interact with audiologists and patients assist in maintaining accurate charting schedule appointments triage phone calls and perform other tasks related to efficient dispensing of hearing health care in the office setting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training that will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent; possess moderate computer skills high level of organizational skills basic knowledge of insurance billing including but not limited to ICD-10 and CPT coding.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; lift materials weighing up to 25 pounds; extend wrist/arms for up to eight hours; articulate speech; hear; and perform telephone and computer work (full range of motion in hands and arms.)
