What is the opportunity

The role reports to the Senior Director COO & Incentive Comp Tech and will lead a team of Senior Initiative Managers (project managers and scrum masters) for the HR & CLAO (HR BMCC Procurement and CRE) team. The role will drive consistent execution and reporting across the portfolio as well as provide support for issue resolution project governance and stakeholder communication. This leader will work across the team and with key stakeholders to promote consistency and accelerate upskilling.

What will you do

  • Work with the broader T&O Initiative Delivery community to ensure project risk and governance is followed by the initiative leads.
  • Work closely with key PMO partners on setting priorities developing road maps and ensuring regular status checkpoints are in place.
  • Enhance and continuously improve our ability to execute initiatives by coaching the team on best practices and by providing opportunities for feedback and improvement.
  • Recommend new ways of working that simplify and/or automate best practices for Initiative Managers.
  • Work with your team key stakeholders app dev teams and vendors to successfully implement initiatives.
  • Ensure project status reports are up to date and accurate including financials issues risks and key decisions etc.

What do you need to succeed

Must Have

  • Proven leadership skills and direct people management experience (5 years)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with key stakeholders and vendors
  • Experience in Initiative Management (PM or Scrum) and Change Management (10 years)
  • Enterprise organizational awareness

Nice to Have

  • Project Management/Scrum Master certificate/training
  • Business Systems Analyst certificate/training
  • Experience in HR BMCC Procurement and CRE
