Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Job Type: Full-Time Day Shift

Position Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting. Provides care that reflects initiative flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectations under the supervision of a provider maintaining regulatory requirements nursing and office policies procedures and priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the with providers about changes in patients condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of Certified or Registered Medical Assistant training program

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 to 3 years medical experience in a physicians office or equivalent in combination of training or experience preferred

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE

  • CMA (AAMA) Certification National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) or RMA (ARMA) Certification
  • Current BCLS certification
