General Function: Deburr polish tumble glue sandblast and part-mark machined parts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safety is our first priority. Employee must be able to operate equipment safely and follow all established Safety Policies and Procedures.
• All parts processed must meet the highest quality standards.
• Part mark parts using an etching tool dot-matrix machine or laser engraving machine.
• Deburr parts to meet drawing requirements and quality standards using hand-held grinders or pneumatic pencils with carbide cutting tools or abrasive polishing/grinding wheels.
• Perform polishing operations using hand-held pneumatic tools or pedestal mounted polishing wheels.
• Perform honing tumbling and sandblasting operations using the appropriate machinery.
• Perform gluing operations by hand.
• Must be a reliable employee that can work with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to communicate and work within a team environment.
• Must have basic computer literacy to operate job tracking software.
• Must be able to use hand tools including wrenches files sanders grinders etc.
• Must keep assigned machine(s) equipment and work area cleaned and neat.
• It is every employees responsibility to be aware of and work with Belvacs current documented Quality Management System as it pertains to their job requirements.
• It is every employees responsibility to communicate opportunities for improvement of processes to reduce set-up and run-time standards when possible.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires long periods of standing (up to 10 hours/day).
• Must be able to operate overhead cranes.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Although all production areas have overhead cranes on occasion employees may choose to lift items by hand for convenience. It is the responsibility of all employees to follow correct lifting techniques and seek help or utilize mechanical lifting aids as appropriate to avoid potential injury.
• Requires good eye hand coordination.

Education:

HS Diploma or Equivalent Certificate
