Chef Manager - Surrey
40 hours per week - working a 5 out of 7 shift pattern Monday to Sunday
Salary range
We offer flexibility in working arrangements including the option to work term-time only (40 working weeks) a full 52-week contract or something in between. The salary will be based on the agreed number of working weeks.

The Chef Manager is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations within the school ensuring high-quality food preparation maintaining sanitation standards and managing kitchen staff. You will also be involved in menu planning cost control and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional food service.

As our ideal Chef Manager you will:-
- Have excellent craft skills and the ability to manage your own kitchen
- Preferably have experience of working in the independent school sector
- Have proven experience of managing training and leading a team
- Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
- Have good communication skills at all levels
- Be passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detail
- Have financial and budget awareness
- Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime if required.
