Our StoryWhat You Will Do
- Assign prioritize and schedule daily departmental activities.
- Instruct mentor coach discipline and evaluate personnel to foster a productive and positive work environment.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Create and manage production schedules using ERP/MRP software.
- Coordinate workflow to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or safety.
- Meet or exceed productivity goals related to returned merchandise late orders safety and receiving.
- Drive quality outputs that exceed customer expectations and comply with QMS requirements.
- Ensure facility compliance with ISO standards.
- Generate reports on production performance quality metrics and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA HazMat SDS and other governmental regulations.
- Maintain safety program requirements and promote a safe working environment.
- Oversee scheduled maintenance for all equipment and buildings.
- Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and controls.
- Maintain inventory integrity and oversee shipping operations.
- Identify opportunities for automation to enhance productivity.
- Plan and implement systems projects and procedures using lean manufacturing principles including 80/20 and 5S tools.
What Youll Bring to the Role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in machining and supervising in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong familiarity with lathe equipment milling and saw shop equipment is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and ISO standards.
- Strong customer orientation and understanding of OSHA requirements.
- Experience with Lean and 5S methodologies preferred.
- Bachelors degree is a plus but not required.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and drive cost-efficiency.

Target compensation: $90000-110000k/year
