Were seeking someone to join our team as a Global Outsourcing Control - Director to ensure the integrity of the Firms outsourcing activities as well as implementing and enforcing consistent adherence to the Firms TPRM Outsourcing framework. The job holder will work with TPPM and Morgan Stanleys Business Units to manage Third-Party risks and maintain all Third-Party arrangements in compliance with the Firms internal policies external rules and relevant regulations on all aspects of Third Party risk management.

This is a Director level position within Third Party Risk Management which specializes in identifying analyzing and managing risks presented to a company as a result of working with external parties / vendors.

What youll do in the role:
The role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of the Firms outsourcing activities as well as implementing and enforcing consistent adherence to the Firms TPRM Outsourcing framework. The job holder will work with TPPM and Morgan Stanleys Business Units to manage Third-Party risks and maintain all Third-Party arrangements in compliance with the Firms internal policies external rules and relevant regulations on all aspects of Third Party risk management.
Develop a strong understanding of regulatory requirements as they relate to outsourcing and how the Firm must meet those requirements. Utilizing this maintain and improve the Firms TPRM outsourcing framework.
Partner with regional Stakeholders to conduct thorough data validation of local inventory submissions against global datasets to ensure consistency and accuracy as well as enhancing local processes and procedures and alignment with global inventory tooling. Identify discrepancies and work with relevant teams.
Review the definition of and current implementation of the Outsourcing rules by analyzing data to assess adherence with both established outsourcing rules and external Regulations. Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven assessments to improve processes.
Perform data-driven assessments of inter-affiliate documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with current data as well as drive the completion of the systemic migration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any discrepancies.
Develop and maintain reports that provide insights into the status of outsourcing activities and adherence levels. Present findings to stakeholders and suggest actionable improvements.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements in data validation and compliance assessment. Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the teams processes.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Firms Third-Party operations industry knowledge and regulatory changes
Review and measure the Outsourcing framework / program as well as the teams achievements against defined metrics to assess effectiveness
What youll bring to the role:
At least 4 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Experience working with global teams in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines
Experience in data analysis and a strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau).
Strong communication skills Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and a proven ability to effectively interact with senior management
Experience in Third Party risk management and a strong understanding of Third Party and the outsourcing regulatory landscape
A demonstrated ability to think strategically to build credibility and to influence key internal and external stakeholders
Project management skills evidenced by a track record of success leading engagements or other problem-solving initiatives requiring coordination of cross-function team members with varied backgrounds and skills
Experience participating in Third Party and outsourcing risk reviews for regulatory and/or internal audit
