Position: Director of Hotel Management
Location: Phnom Penh Cambodia
Salary: US$3500-$4500
Lead the strategic direction and operations of our managed hotel properties ensuring optimal performance through end-to-end project oversight revenue growth team development reporting and strict compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Strategic Planning & Implementation
Define medium- and long-term business strategies including brand positioning and growth initiatives based on market analysis.
Drive major decisions such as portfolio expansion new project types and strategic partnerships.
Full-Cycle Project Management
Oversee all phases from project inception and pre-opening to mature operations.
Monitor and achieve key metrics (occupancy RevPAR guest satisfaction) through standardized processes and continuous improvement.
Digitalization & Revenue Management
Implement and leverage digital tools (PMS CRM BI) to establish a data-driven operating model.
Develop and refine pricing and revenue strategies to maximize profitability and repeat business.
Team Building & Cross-Cultural Leadership
Build mentor and lead a core management team across functions (operations marketing finance HR).
Facilitate effective collaboration between local and international staff promoting a cohesive localized culture.
Financial & Cost Control
Oversee budgeting forecasting and cost-management processes; monitor P&L and key financial indicators.
Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency initiatives without compromising service quality.
Brand Development & Market Expansion
Champion brand standards and lead marketing efforts to enhance market presence and customer loyalty.
Negotiate and manage relationships with property owners investors and tourism partners to drive growth.
Compliance & Stakeholder Relations
Ensure all operations comply with local laws industry regulations and corporate policies.
Maintain strong relationships with government agencies industry bodies and key external stakeholders.
Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Business Administration Tourism Management or related field preferred.
Minimum 10 years experience in hotel operations including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles at a hotel chain or management company.
Proven track record managing multiple properties through development opening and operational phases.
Demonstrated ability to achieve operational targets and drive revenue growth.
