Senior Instrument Designer

Our client requires a Senior Instrument Designer for an initial six-month contract on an LNG FEED Project. The role will be based in London with the possibility of a hybrid working pattern. The engagement will be Outside of IR35.

Job Description

This role involves preparing various Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering deliverables such as block diagrams location layouts cable routing layouts material takeoff bill of materials control room and rack room layouts.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in 3D drafting software packages specifically S3D.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines such as Electrical and Piping to provide instrumentation and telecom inputs.
  • Ensure the quality of work within the group and supervise the Designer(s) reporting to you.
  • Adhere to company and project standards procedures and specifications.
  • Experience in coordinating with high-value Engineering Centres.
  • 3D modelling experience and the ability to extract drawings from 3D models are advantageous
