Support the Data Collection Bureau managing multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced team-oriented Geohydrologic Data Section (GEO) is seeking a dedicated and proactive Field Staff Supervisor to oversee a dynamic team supporting critical water resource programs. This role is essential to the success of the Regional Observation & Monitor-well Program (ROMP) the Quality of Water Improvement Program (QWIP) and the Well Repair & Maintenance Program (WRMP).This opportunity offers an ability to make an impact on the organization and provides both flexibility and true work-life balance. Thestartingsalary range for theField Supervisorpositionreflects theminimum to 50% of the compensation. The starting salary will be based on the education and experience of the successful candidate. The District conducts annual performance evaluations that may award applicable pay increases based on positive employee performance.
In-office:Approximately 40 percent of work is conducted in the office or remotely. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as a personal computer copier mobile devices etc is required. Ability to perform continuous repetitive tasks (including keyboarding and driving) with one or both hands and feet is travel between District offices may be required.
In-field: Approximately 60 percent of work is conducted in the field. Frequent travel during normal work hours is required. Must be able to operate a motorized vehicle for extended periods sometimes in off-road (4x4) performed in the field may often be in remote and undeveloped areas of the District. Occasional overnight stays may be required. Outdoor labor may be required. Fieldwork frequently involves coordination of transporting installing operating and retrieving of field equipment water pumps and related supplies and equipment. May be exposed to extremes in elements temperature and humidity and to a variety of pests including mosquitoes and ticks. Must be able to able to bend lift carry and reach above shoulder level. May occasionally require the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
Employeemaybe subject to call-in outside of regularly scheduled work hours or required to be on call including on nights weekends or holidays to respond to emergency management activities or other incidents requiring rapid response in support of District operations.

The District will determine eligibility for employment solely from the information provided on a District employment application. The primary work location for this position is out of the Brooksville FL office. The work schedule is four (4) ten-hour days Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This position is eligible for compensatory time for hours worked over 40 hours in a week.
