Job Description

182-day school-year positionResponsibilities Include the Following:-supporting students with disabilities in various classroom environments-reintegrating students to the school after hospitalization and/or lengthy absences-assisting teachers in providing accommodations to students with disabilities-assisting in small group specialized instruction-collecting data on student behavior and providing input when necessary-supervising students in various settings-collaborating with supervising teachers-reviewing and understanding IEPs Additional duties and relevant responsibilities as assigned by the high school administration. WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is generally performed in a school environment during the school day however there may be occasions for after-school meetings WORKDAY:The workday is 7:30 am to 2:30 on the salary scale is at the discretion of the principal according to experience level and skill Vocational and Agricultural High School does not discriminate on the basis of race color national origin sex gender identity disability religion or sexual orientation. Hiring is contingent upon successful CORI and Fingerprint Background Check clearance.
