How youll contribute

• The Medical Laboratory Assistant will perform basic laboratory duties to include phlebotomy along with other specimen collection and waived testing.
• Responsible for ordering processing and distributing laboratory specimens
• Review of pending reports manifests etc. for outstanding lab results
• Assisting other lab personnel with specimen storage and retrieval ensuring Turn Around Times (TATs) are met; and maintaining inventory for phlebotomy services reference lab supplies and departmental office supplies.

Qualifications and requirements:

• A High School diploma or GED

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure required

• 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.

• CPR certification (when required).

• Willing to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation
