Job Description
Overview
For over 25 years G&A Partners has been helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses take better care of their employees and enjoy a higher quality of life by providing proven HR solutions and technology. G&A Partners client is currently seeking a Day Shift Foreman to join its team in Spring TX.
Summary
Coordinates with the Executive VP of Operations to direct the activities of day shift production department employees in the Winding and Finishing areas by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees
Responsibilities
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES/ ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- include the following other duties may be assigned:
- Must be able to read and write in English or Spanish.
- Capable of understanding and supporting quality environmental occupational health and safety requirements as applicable to this position.
- Coordinates with Executive VP of Operations Production Planner & Production Assistant to determine production requirements and assigns operators as necessary to achieve schedule.
- Supervises Day Shift Winding Leadman and Finishing Leadman.
- Checks inventory levels of supplies and reorders as necessary
- Checks product characteristics including appearance fit and finish.
- Checks all shipments.
OTHER DUTIES
- Compiles UPS reports weekly
- Compiles inventory monthly
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The following positions report to the Day Shift Foreman:
- Operators
- Team Leaders
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assigning work and training employees.
Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 5 to 10 years production experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Privacy Policy
The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&As total compensation package for employees.
