Position Overview

As the Shopify Frontend Developer youll be a key contributor to our e-commerce team building and maintaining high-quality Shopify themes and apps for the Alani Nu website.

Requirements

Experience: 35 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Shopify theme development

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

Strong knowledge of Shopify Theme Development and Liquid

Proficient in HTML CSS JavaScript and Ruby

Experience with Shopify APIs and webhooks

Experience with Git for version control

Experience working with AI technologies including GPT-based tools

Excellent problem-solving communication and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to deliver high-quality Shopify solutions

Develop and maintain Shopify websites themes scripts and apps

Write well-designed testable and efficient code with a focus on Shopify Liquid

Gather and refine technical specifications to align with business needs

Partner with marketing and creative teams to enhance website user experience

Stay informed on industry trends and apply best practices to e-commerce strategies

Coordinate with external vendors and third-party developers as needed

Research and source partners apps and AI integrations to improve Shopify functionality

Use version control (Git) to manage codebases

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge skills and qualifications.
