Security Systems Design Architect
Salary: 50000.00 - 60000.00 Basic Travel allowance
Location: London (3 days per week) Hybrid working model
A leading smart buildings security integrator is seeking a Security Systems Design Architect to join their innovative team. If youre passionate about designing and delivering cutting-edge security solutions this is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects across various sectors including enterprise hospitality residential and data centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take security system designs from the tender stage and develop them into detailed on-site deliverables.
- Design and integrate electronic security solutions such as CCTV access control intercom systems intruder alarms and perimeter detection.
- Produce technical documents such as submittals and manage variation costings.
- Ensure security designs meet industry standards and codes of practice.
- Engage with clients during meetings workshops and presentations representing the company with confidence and technical expertise.
- Oversee smooth project handovers ensuring a seamless transition from design to delivery.
- Collaborate with manufacturers suppliers and internal teams to refine designs and ensure the best outcomes.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in designing security system solutions for smart building projects.
- Strong knowledge of key manufacturers such as Axis Avigilon Milestone C-Cure Gallagher Genetec and Honeywell.
- Experience in enterprise data centre and campus fit-out projects.
- Ability to lead security design discussions and guide teams through technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- DBS Check (required).
- Desirable: Accreditations from recognised manufacturers and security industry bodies.
