Salary Competitive dependent on experience
Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with flexible hybrid working & agile working policy
Holiday 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) plus birthday day off
About the Operations Manager role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Manager to join our growing R & D team in our Northampton office.
This is a key role working with clients and TC Group Partners while supporting the Head of R & D with the onboarding of new clients and team management. There will be opportunity for internal progression and professional development on other tax reliefs such as patent box & video games and we are also willing to consider relevant study support.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Head of R & D with the onboarding of new clients
- Building relationships with clients & TC Group Partners
- Managing the workload and delivery times of the R & D Analysts
- Supporting the Head of R & D on the delivery of operation projects to the wider team
- Managing the team and all related people management tasks
- Being proactive to drive operational efficiency and lead on internal projects
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Previous experience of managing people
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate responsibility for managing clients TC Partners and own personal workload
- Previous experience of working with clients and offering a high level of client care
- Ability to build strong client relationships and generate repeat work and new business referrals
- Proactive and results driven
- Knowledge of the R&D BEIS Guidelines advantageous
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Project management skills advantageous but not necessary
