Location: Bend OR (Regional travel as needed)
CORY is seeking a Safety Manager with a passion for cultivating safe work environments and ensuring the well-being of every team member. This is an impactful role for a driven professional ready to shape and lead safety initiatives for an established and reputable organization.
About Our Client:
Our client delivers utility solar energy storage and high-voltage solutions prioritizing safety from construction to operation throughout North America. They have a solid reputation for longstanding customer relationships community investment and meaningful careers in clean energy.
Your Responsibilities as a Leader:
Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program and solar energy project policy covering electrical work height and heavy equipment.
Conduct regular site inspections audits and safety training (fall protection electrical safety emergency procedures) to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Investigate incidents near misses and safety violations to determine root cause and implement corrective action.
Ensure OSHA compliance manage subcontractor safety and maintain accurate documentation of training inspection and incidents.
Monitor safety performance identify trends recommend improvement and foster a positive safety culture through communication training and leadership..
The Skills & Experience You Possess:
5-7 years of experience in a safety management role with experience in the solar or renewable energy sector.
Thorough understanding of OSHA standards state and local safety regulations and risk management strategies. OSHA 10 Required. OSHA 30 is highly preferred.
Certification in safety management (e.g. CSP CHST or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence teams and build consensus.
Proficiency with safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel within the region as required.
