You will be updated with latest job alerts via email Perform onsite preventive maintenance repairs; respond to emergency calls regarding equipment failure
Demonstrate technical diagnostic troubleshooting skills repair defective mechanical parts in electrical motors 2 cycle and 4 cycle engines and related small engine equipment using hand and power tools
Understand wiring schematics identify and demonstrate technical skills in areas of A/C and D/C electrical currents
Good customer service skills ability to instruct customers on how to operate and properly maintain equipment
Ensure parts and supplies are ordered and available for repair as needed
Report observed equipment maintenance problems that are in need of address to service technicians in order to prolong the life of the equipment
Utilize departments daily log sheet for equipment deliveries and pick-up services
Considerable knowledge of locations of various schools and facilities within the district
Report any accidents to vehicle or merchandise in his or her care
High School Diploma Required
Valid Texas License and a Record that meets the Districts standard required
Three years of experience of small engine and related equipment repairs required
Ability to perform responsibilities under general supervision
Ability to work under time and pressure demands of the position to ensure completion deadlines
Ability to complete work orders accurately
Ability to read and interpret schematic and wiring diagrams
Knowledge of electronics and/or formal training
Demonstrated ability to perform responsibilities under general supervision.
