Video Producer (Journaling Video Creation & Quality Specialist)
Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Video Producer who can excel in the combined roles of Journaling Video Creation and Quality this multifaceted position you will be responsible for sourcing and documenting articles transforming them into compelling video content and ensuring the final products meet our rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong journalistic instincts exceptional video production skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Journaling
Identify and curate articles from various sources that have the potential for engaging video adaptations
Document key details of selected articles including source topic target audience and potential visual elements
Collaborate with the writing team to ensure selected articles align with our content strategy and client guidelines
Maintain an organized database of journaled articles for easy reference and tracking
Video Creation
Develop creative concepts and storyboards based on the journaled articles
Utilize video editing software to assemble footage audio and graphics into compelling narratives
Source and select appropriate visual elements such as stock footage images and animations to enhance the storytelling
Collaborate with writers designers and other team members to ensure videos align with the intended message and tone
Optimize videos for various platforms and devices considering factors such as aspect ratio resolution and file format
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Quality Assurance
Conduct thorough reviews of the generated videos to ensure they meet all creative technical and journalistic standards
Verify the accuracy of visual elements transcriptions and any additional graphics or text
Check for proper synchronization of audio and visual components
Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines client specifications and legal requirements
Provide constructive feedback to the video creation team for any necessary revisions or improvements
Approve final videos for distribution once they meet all quality criteria
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Journalism Media Production or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in video production journalism or a similar role
- Strong understanding of journalistic principles news gathering and article curation
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere After Effects or Final Cut Pro
- Excellent visual storytelling skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Strong project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with motion graphics and animation techniques
- Understanding of media licensing and copyright laws
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
- Background in journalism or newsroom operations

Note: This position involves rotational shifts with Saturdays and Sundays not considered as standard holidays. However you will receive compensatory off days on other weekdays maintaining a five-day workweek. Leave entitlements will follow company guidelines which may differ from conventional policies.
