Description:
The Overnight Supervisor position is a vital role within our Security and Investigations team dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our clients premises during the nighttime hours. This position requires a vigilant and initiative-taking individual who can effectively manage security operations in a high-stakes environment. As an Overnight Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing security personnel and enforcing security protocols to safeguard property and personnel. Your leadership will be instrumental in responding to incidents coordinating emergency responses and maintaining a calm and professional atmosphere during your shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management excellent communication skills and a capacity for quick decision-making under pressure. You will embody our commitment to safety by not only leading the team but also actively monitoring situations conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will directly impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of our security operations fostering a safe environment for all stakeholders involved.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel during the overnight shift.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
Maintain accurate logs and reports regarding security activities incidents and personnel performance.
Train and mentor security staff to uphold company standards and ensure ongoing professional development.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance security operations and address potential vulnerabilities.
Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding security issues and concerns.
Required to respond/take an open shift during scheduled hours of operation.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security or law enforcement sectors.
Strong understanding of security operations and emergency management protocols.
Effective leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team under pressure.
Excellent communication and people skills to interact with personnel and clients.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-stress situations.
Availability of working overnight shifts including weekends and holidays as required.
Valid security license and certification in first aid and CPR preferred.
Will need to be able to obtain or renew following licenses.
Marijuana Enforcement Division Badge (MED)- Denver Armed Security Officer Card- Glendale Armed Officer Badge- Clean driving record for company vehicle access.
