Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer Manchester / Birmingham
As a Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer you will be responsible for the planning and execution of our Instrumentation engineering services and solutions with customers across conceptual basic and detailed design engineering phases; and into construction and CQV phases within a genuine multi-disciplinary delivery team.
Youll also assist with bids and tenders as well as providing coaching and mentoring to early careers engineering professionals.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a related Engineering field.
- Preferably a Chartered Engineer with IET or working towards.
- Possess a thorough level of experience in control and instrumentation specification & design engineering work within the Pharmaceutical sector
- Fieldbus technology (Profibus DP and Modbus RTU) design knowledge.
- Some experience of programming/configuration of PLC/DCS systems would be advantageous.
- Possess excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to adapt multi-task and prioritise when necessary.
- Display a positive outlook and approachable manner.
