Job Description

Hours: FRIDAY - SUNDAY 6PM - 6:30AM

Overtime as needed

As a Line Lead in Chambers at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. you will have the outstanding opportunity to drive excellence in our world-class manufacturing operations! This pivotal role will have you leading a dedicated team ensuring flawless production processes and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of operators to ensure flawless execution of manufacturing processes.
  • Strictly adhere to and enforce safety protocols and company standards.
  • Successfully implement and coordinate production schedules to meet ambitious targets.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning at efficient levels.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Required Education: High school diploma/ GED
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing experience required
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing leadership role preferred.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work weekends and evening shifts.
  • Advanced technical training or certifications preferred.
