Job Description
Hours: FRIDAY - SUNDAY 6PM - 6:30AM
Overtime as needed
As a Line Lead in Chambers at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. you will have the outstanding opportunity to drive excellence in our world-class manufacturing operations! This pivotal role will have you leading a dedicated team ensuring flawless production processes and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of operators to ensure flawless execution of manufacturing processes.
- Strictly adhere to and enforce safety protocols and company standards.
- Successfully implement and coordinate production schedules to meet ambitious targets.
- Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning at efficient levels.
- Monitor and report on production metrics ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Required Education: High school diploma/ GED
- 2-3 years of manufacturing experience required
- Prior experience in a manufacturing leadership role preferred.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach.
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Ability to work weekends and evening shifts.
- Advanced technical training or certifications preferred.
