Position Overview
At ServiceChannel Senior QA Engineers play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. They are integral in transforming ideas into high-quality robust products by designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies. Prospective candidates must have extensive experience in software testing particularly within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment and be proficient and cloud technologies.
A deep understanding of software development and secure testing lifecycles is essential along with expertise in web application workflows components databases and security principles. The ideal candidate will work on enterprise software data and other projects supporting ServiceChannels winning product strategy and roadmap through meticulous testing and quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of software products.
Lead the testing efforts for complex software projects ensuring thorough test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and DevOps to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
Identify document and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Implement and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers providing technical expertise and promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the QA processes and tools to enhance overall product quality.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation and manual testing.
Proficiency in writing test scripts using automation tools such as Selenium JUnit TestNG or similar.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into the build process.
Solid understanding of API testing including tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with cloud-based testing environments and tools.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Experience with mobile application testing.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
