Architecture49 is seeking Senior Architectsto join our GTA team.

The central hub of Torontos office brings together innovation creativity and a commitment to architectural excellence. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
  • Manage a group of architectural staff leading project meetings and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Performinternal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with BIM standards.
  • Research materials products and technologies required for the design and incorporate into the details specification and other documents.
  • Manage a team of consultants.
  • Client communication.
  • Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost quality and schedule targets.
  • Manage the financial aspect of the project including planning scheduling forecasting and staffing and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.
  • Travel to remote First Nation communities and work sites.

Qualifications

  • Registered architect in Ontario (OAA) or eligibility to be registered.
  • 10 years experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with both Provincial and National related standards and codes.
  • Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows REVIT software AutoCAD software Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam.
  • Experience with Visualization software and Adobe Creative Suite would be considered an asset.
  • Experience or desire to work with Indigenous communities would be considered an asset.
