Are you passionate about helping others navigate their educational journey In this roleyouwill be the first point of contact for students families faculty and staffguiding them through the many aspects of Student Financial Services.Youllprovide personalized support and expert advice on financial aid scholarships and student account services.
As part of our dynamic teamyouwill play a key role in our student services and outreach efforts.Youlluse your skills in financial aid processing award adjustments professional judgment and needs analysis to ensure students receive the support they need.Youllalso collaborate with other departments to streamline services and improve the student experience.
Outreach is a vital part of this position.Youllrepresent our office at recruitment events deliver presentations to diverse audiences and help spread awareness about financial resources available to students.

This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3750.85 - $5397.56 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelors degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
Experience in customer service.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Developed skills in written and verbal communication including experience with large group presentations.
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/evenings.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform multiple tasks.
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
Demonstrated experience interpreting rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with student services in a higher education setting especially Admissions Student Accounts Academic Advising Registrar Graduate School Athletics and/or Housing and Dining.
Experience with PeopleSoft.
Experience with financial aid programs sponsored by the State of Washington.
