Job Description

Position: Assistant Professor of Strategy/Organization Theory
Effective Date: August 17 2026 (Fall Semester)
Salary Range: The Assistant Professor (Academic Year) classification salary is $6221 to $13224/per month (12 monthly payments per academic year). The anticipated hiring range is $131000 to $141000/per year $10916 to $11750/per month. Salary offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

About the College of Business:

The College of Business is a leading dynamic urban college serving south Los Angeles County and Orange County. Business is one of the most popular fields of study on campus. Accredited since 1971 at both the undergraduate and graduate levels by AACSB International the College of Business has approximately 4800 undergraduate majors almost 600 graduate students in eight masters programs and a network of 65000 graduates since its inception. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Department of Management and Human Resource Management is an interdisciplinary department comprised of tenured/tenure-track faculty full-time lecturers and adjunct instructors who work together to serve CSULB students by developing high-quality courses in management human resource management and supply chain management. We are a collegial department with several long-serving faculty.
