This Position reports to:
Warehouse/Internal Logistics ManagerIn this role you will have the opportunity to plan direct and monitor all activities in the warehouse. Each day you will develop and manage warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt storage picking and dispatch of products systems and services to customers. You will also showcase your expertise by proposing and managing the annual warehouse budget.
The work model for the role is onsite in our Dallas TX distribution center (#LI-Onsite).
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Optimizing warehouse capacity inventory and floor utilization.
- Aligning HSE strategies with 3PL provider to ensure highest HSE standards
- Establishing work procedures to meet warehouse demands.
- Facilitating HSE risk assessments and ensuring all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented.
- Supporting the DC Operations Manager and HSE Hub Leader in reporting progress with respect to the implementation of the group-level HSE objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 6 years experience in the following: Warehouse Shipping & Receiving internal logistics inventory material handling distribution operations.
Preferred Qualifications Include: 3 years HSE leadership experience and OSHA Authorized 30 Hour Instructor EMT Certification First Responder Certification ASP or CSP designations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint and SAP (preferred).
Ability to build relationships speak/present effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees comprised of various levels of personnel from senior executives to facility personnel.
