The Rolling Pin is hiring a Sales Associate to help with in-store operations. This position is part-time and hours range from 18 to 24 hours per store is open daily from 10am-4pm.
Job Requirements
The Sales Associate must be an enthusiastic self-motivated individual with strong customer service skills. Job duties include:
- Providing customer service and sales to the public.
- Fulfilling online orders for pickup in-store or curbside.
- Learning and maintaining a working knowledge of the products we carry including the ability to explain usage to customers.
- Answering questions for customers via phone and email.
- Creating content for social media accounts.
- Keeping the store shelves stocked and displayed in eye catching ways for customers.
- Reciving product deliveries and inputting item details in the system
- Opening and closing the shop including handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment including the shop office storage room bathroom floors windows and stairways.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Self driven and reliable.
- Experience working with a point of sale.
- Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Experience creating professional quality social media content.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry heavy boxes upstairs.
