Job Description
Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Charlotte NC
Domain: Finance
Long Term Contract
Looking for W2 Candidates. No C2C
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Leadership: Serve as a technical leader for the ServiceNow platform overseeing architecture decisions best practices and overall platform governance.
- Solution Design & Development: Design develop and maintain complex workflows business rules client scripts UI policies and integrations within ServiceNow.
- Module Expertise: Lead implementations and enhancements across key ServiceNow modules (e.g. ITSM ITOM CMDB HRSD TSM TNI WSD GRC).
- Integration: Design and develop secure integrations with third-party applications using REST SOAP MID servers and integration hubs.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers and admins conducting code reviews and promoting development standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product owners business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Platform Optimization: Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization automation and continuous improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet security and compliance requirements including audit trails access control and change management protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in ServiceNow development.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript Glide API and ServiceNow scripting (client-side and server-side).
- Proven experience implementing and customizing core modules (e.g. Incident Problem Change CMDB Service Catalog Knowledge Discovery).
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms and tools (e.g. Active Directory Azure Jira Splunk Salesforce).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
- Experience with Flow Designer Integration Hub App Engine Studio or custom app development.
- Knowledge of ITIL v4 principles and practices.
- Experience in Telecom domain
