Job Description

Zappos is seeking a talented driven and customer-obsessed Sr. Product Manager that will need to be a strategically-oriented individual with strong communication skills be able to build relationships with internal stakeholders quickly in addition to being detail-oriented and process driven.

The ideal candidate is passionate about driving and creating mechanisms to improve the customer shopping experience. As the Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for elevating the shopping experience for customers and brands on Amazon. You will launch streamline and build products programs processes and tools that improve the trust and quality of our offering. This role will own and scale efforts to protect and elevate the Zappos FBA business. The ideal candidate is highly organized analytical works effectively with internal and external contacts has the proven ability to manage critical projects concurrently and through to successful completion and enjoys the challenges of developing and improving processes in a highly dynamic environment. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot of white space and embraces the opportunity to pioneer new ideas and operationalize them quickly and effectively. They are customer-obsessed adept at using both data and anecdotal evidence to drive innovation and they draw upon their experience to drive results at scale.

- 5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
