Job Description
As a General QA Engineer (Web and Mobile) youll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of both web and mobile applications. Youll collaborate with multiple teams advocate for QA excellence and implement innovative solutions to improve workflows and testing your day-to-day you will:
- Collaborate with multiple teams in a QA advocating role providing guidance across projects
- Design write and execute manual and automated tests using JavaScript Appium for mobile and Playwright for web
- Test AI-powered applications including validation of dynamic and generative outputs
- Work in a fast-paced development environment ensuring continuous quality feedback
- Coordinate with development teams on bug resolution and feature enhancements or fix issues independently
- Think like a real Wix user to ensure realistic usage scenarios are tested before releases
Qualifications :
- 3 years of experience testing web and mobile applications
- 2 years of hands-on experience writing and maintaining automation tests for web or mobile platforms
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java JavaScript or Python
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
- Familiar with web-related technologies (HTML CSS JS browser debugging SQL client-server architecture)
- Highly professional analytical and detail-oriented with a passion for user-centric digital products
- Experience with complex test scenarios and custom test frameworks an advantage
- Practical experience with AI-powered testing tools an advantage
- Exposure to testing AI-driven features such as chatbots or generative AI applications an advantage
