Senior Pipeline TD

We are looking for a skilled and collaborative Senior Pipeline TD to join our team and help build the rigging systems used in the production process of our games. This role focuses on creating robust user-friendly rigging tools and integrating them with our existing pipelines including Unreal Engine 5.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain in-house rigging solutions and support other systems as needed.
• Collaborate with the team currently developing our rigging infrastructure.
• Work closely with animators to ensure rigs are intuitive responsive and performance-driven.
• Partner with the rigging department to ensure tools meet technical and user experience needs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and iterate rapidly to improve tools.
• Document tools workflows and best practices for long-term sustainability.
• Optimize rigs for runtime performance and seamless integration with Unreal Engine animation systems.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a rigging system developer in game development or VFX.
• Expertise in Maya MotionBuilder and Unreal Engine rigging workflows (experience with Blender or Houdini is a plus).
• Deep understanding of Unreal Engine 5 including Control Rig Sequencer and Live Link.
• Strong knowledge of rigging pipelines deformation systems and real-time performance constraints.
• Strong Python programming skills backed by examples of previous rigging systems developed.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Familiarity with motion capture retargeting pipelines.
• Experience with version control systems Perforce and Git.
• Proactive team-oriented attitude with a passion for supporting production teams.
• A sense of humor and a strong drive to take on challenges.
• Passion for games is a plus.
