Job Description
- Design and specify mechanical systems for data centres and buildings such as Air-Conditioning Mechanical Ventilation and Fire Protection systems
- Prepare relevant documents design calculations and drawings for submissions to authorities
- Attend client-consultant site and technical meetings
- Provide project management and construction supervision
- Review contractors technical submissions of equipment/materials/drawings
- Conduct site inspections of installations
- Witness testing and commissioning of equipment/system
- Work with the clients project team and fellow consultants to coordinate and detail project design requirement
- Be responsible for any duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications :
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by Board od Engineers Malaysia
- Able to work in Malaysia
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with M&E Consultancy firm(s)
- Strong knowledge of local codes and regulations
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD Revit and energy modeling software.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Positive work attitude
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Enjoy the process of developing design ideas into actual quality installation and validating through performance tests
- Likes hands-on site and testing & commissioning work
- Experience in Data Centre industry is preferred
- Suitable applicant with longer relevant experience deeper technical knowledge and additional technical qualifications such as Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) will be considered for more senior position
