Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Finacle System Analyst - Functional Consultant with deep expertise in the Loans module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements preparing detailed specifications for technical customization and functionally validating loan-related processes. This role acts as a functional SME and liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of loan solutions on the Finacle core banking platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to loan origination servicing restructuring repayment and closure.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to facilitate clear communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Define and document functional specifications workflows and configuration guidelines for the Finacle Loans module.
- Review system behavior and ensure accurate loan product setup and parameterization in Finacle.
- Support end-to-end implementation and customization activities including test case reviews functional testing UAT coordination and production rollout.
- Provide functional input for customizations interface mappings and third-party integrations (e.g. LOS LMS credit bureaus).
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage and assist with defect triaging and resolution.
- Assist in post-go-live support issue analysis and evaluation of functional enhancements.
- Use Unix shell scripting to monitor and troubleshoot Finacle batch processes or automate routine validation checks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4 6 years of experience as a Finacle Functional Consultant specifically in the Loans module.
- Strong understanding of the loan lifecycle: origination sanction disbursement interest setup EMI schedule recovery and NPA handling.
- Hands-on experience with Finacle product configuration and parameterization tools.
- Solid knowledge of retail and corporate lending processes.
- Proficiency in preparing and validating Functional Design Documents (FSD) and user stories.
- Experience with requirement gathering functional testing UAT and production support.
- Working knowledge of SQL for basic data validation and reporting.
- Experience with Unix shell scripting for job monitoring log analysis or file-based processing in Finacle environments.
- Should be a self-starter capable of delivering results independently without the need for hand-holding or continuous supervision.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Finacle 10.x or higher.
- Exposure to digital lending processes and Loan Origination System (LOS) integration.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (e.g. RBI CIBIL NPA norms).
- Certification in Finacle Functional Modules or BA/CBAP certification.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Information Technology or Business Administration.
- MBA in Finance or Banking is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical thinking documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proactive self-motivated and able to adapt in a fast-paced banking environment.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and delivery timelines.
