We are seeking a dedicated Agriculture and Farming Supervisor to oversee daily farming operations in Mandla. The ideal candidate will manage field activities coordinate farm labor and ensure adherence to agricultural best practices to maximize productivity and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily farming activities including planting irrigation fertilization and harvesting.
- Manage and train farm workers to maintain high standards of work quality and safety.
- Monitor crop growth and health and implement pest and disease control measures.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable farming practices.
- Maintain accurate records of farm operations inventory and labor.
- Collaborate with management to plan crop cycles and resource allocation.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Resolve operational issues and optimize farm productivity.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture Agronomy Horticulture or related field.
- Proven experience in supervising agricultural or farming operations.
- Knowledge of crop management soil health and irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with local agricultural regulations and sustainable practices.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and experience with farm machinery operation preferred.
