Step into a pivotal leadership role where youll guide mid-to-large commercial projects from initial concept and proposal development right through to final close-out. Youll lead pre-construction under CM drive design-to-tender workflows convert to a stipulated-sum model and execute construction with precision accountability and collaboration.
As a mentor and coach youll empower project managers and coordinators to raise their game foster strong partnerships with clients and subcontractors and drive continuous improvements in safety quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full-lifecycle delivery of mid-to-large commercial projects (roughly $30 M in scope)
- Craft compelling proposals and methodologies that win work and clearly articulate whats in it for the client
- Implement estimating input subtrade buy-outs contracts change-order controls and robust forecasts
- Mentor project managers coordinators superintendents and support staffdevelop tomorrows leaders today
- Foster client consultant and subcontractor relationships that drive repeat business and strong referrals
- Embed continuous improvement: streamline processes reinforce safety best practices capture lessons learned
Qualifications :
Who You Are
- 8 years general contractor (not developer) experience on mid-to-large commercial builds; 5 years in a direct PM role
- Proven cradle-to-grave track recorddesign constructability input estimating through close-out/hand-off
- CM conversion experience: shifting projects from open CM (CCDC 5A/5B) into CCDC 2 fixed-sum delivery
- Skilled in risk management and opportunity identification under both open and converted CM models
- Adept at building and holding teams to rigorous schedules and budgets
- Relentlessly ambitious with an entrepreneurial mindset you set bold targets pursue new opportunities and drive transformative growth
- Projects consistently meet or exceed budget schedule and quality targets
- Teams view you as their SME and primary coach
- Exceptional communicator and negotiatorteams and clients seek you out as their go-to authority
