You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAECOM Canada is searching for a Project Planning and Scheduling Specialist for a full-time position based at Markham.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the projects planning and construction strategies across the corridor.
Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to identify and optimize construction sequencing logistics and resource allocation.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to ensure effective planning and staging of construction activities.
Coordinate with various teams to develop construction schedules phasing plans and mitigation measures.
Planning of engineering trains access and possessions reduce possession related cost due to engineering trains Increase efficiency of engineering access.
Attend planning meetings ensuring effect planning is done to reduce safety maximize performance of engineering possessions.
Chair Integration and Deconfliction and Readiness meetings for engineering possessions.
Monitor and update the projects planning and staging activities based on changing requirements and constraints.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
University education in Engineering Finance or Economics and 6 years of related experience.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
Competency Requirements
Minimum seven (7) years of experience in construction planning and staging for large infrastructure projects preferably in the railway industry.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing logistics planning and resource management
Familiarity with construction methodologies safety regulations and environmental considerations
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
